Just saw on the Ford Performance website that the Whipple Supercharger M-6066-F150SCA and M-6066-F150SCB has been updated to work with 2024 5.0 F150s!!
I saw a couple of you Coyote owners patiently waiting for this.

I'm not sure how a 4wd system would hold up to that power over time. Axles, transfer case, differentials...who knows. I'd say a 2wd truck would be fairly safe with the supercharger, but there are a lot of parts on the 4wd trucks that may not be up to the task of handling the power for too long.

I am to lazy to go look, but I think the Long bed 2WDs may have a 2 piece drive shaft also.

As @Dakar09 pointed out, you have the axle, transfer case, and diffs. Go ahead and add in the transmission, which has proven itself to be tough if you got a good one, but a supercharger will help you find out if you have a bad one real fast.
The engine itself is going to undergo a lot more wear and tear, not just from the SC, but the person in the drivers seat poking the accelerator may be more inclined to poke it harder.
Whipple and Roush have SC offerings and I am not going to go down that rabbit hole here. I am certainly not "anti" SC, in my younger days before I had 3 car seats across the back seat, I probably would have gotten it for giggles. I imagine my 157" long boi gapping some fools around here would be both exciting and terrifying for some.
Maybe someday when the warranty and car seats are ancient history, I'll do something silly like throw some snails in with a true dual, but until then, it's taking us on some awesome road trips around the midwest.

I had the Stage 2 Whipple 2.9L on my 19 F150 SCREW that got totaled last year (81 y/o man smashed into me). When I removed my Catch Can, I found a ton of fine metal shavings inside it. Truck had 16k miles on it with about 15k on the Whipple, installed around 1k miles. I never hammered it and even upgraded OPG's, timing components, etc. with parts from MMR. All professionally installed. It was only a matter of time till the engine grenaded. Not sure what was failing but ever since install all of my oil analysis had high levels of various metals in the oil. I wouldn't recommend it.

Man that is interesting how the particles made their way up and through the PCV valve, past the catch can baffles and landed inside.

Yeah, it was really fine stuff. Like the little bit of sludge you get on the end of a magnetic drain plug. But the can had about a half inch of this fine metal powder like material. There was also some metal curly q's caught inside the mesh coalescing filter. It appeared like it was aluminum as it was real soft metal. This was the UPR Catch Can for Whipple. I agree, strange. Good luck to whoever has it now.

This is usually a result of the OPG's not being installed correctly, and slightly misaligned. People always skip the step of rotating the crankshaft a couple times with the Oil pump only finger tight on the block, which perfectly centers the gears, then torquing it to spec. Aftermarket OPG's are actually a softer metal than the OEM ones.

I was going to say, that’s shotty install by his shop nothing to do with motor. The A/M gerator gears were failing.
